• Water Conservation Training Empowers Access Program Students

In partnership with the Tahfeez Association for Leadership and Development, World Associates, Ltd. recently conducted a comprehensive training session for students of the Access Scholarship Program. This three-hour workshop focused on the critical issue of water conservation and its significance in Jordan.

The training provided 100 Access students with a deep understanding of the importance of water conservation and practical techniques for preserving this vital resource. The session covered various topics, including the reasons behind water scarcity and effective strategies for preventing waste. The students also learned about the different types of water, such as saltwater, freshwater, and recycled water, broadening their knowledge on a subject of global importance.

Mr. Ahmad Shtyat and Mr. Ahmad Hussainat, who led the training, presented eye-opening facts that left the students deeply impressed. Their insights into water conservation not only educated but also inspired the students to think critically about their own water usage.

During the training, the discussion extended to the environmental impact of single-use plastics, specifically the widespread use of plastic and paper cups among students. To promote sustainable practices, each student was provided with a reusable water bottle, reinforcing the importance of reducing plastic waste and addressing broader environmental issues.
